Race #1: 5K

My first race! It was, okay. I feel like I'm having problems breathing. I didn't really feel prepared for the race, and kept berating myself the entire time about being so slow, so really maybe it was so slow because of a negative outlook. I'm trying to work on it. About mile one I started thinking about how I should maybe drop to a half marathon instead. About mile two I almost just gave up and started walking, and about mile three I remembered that I can push myself, I just need to do it. Push. Harder. Must shut up and just push harder.
